Alan and Jeffrey worked long days to get all the rig work completed so we could get back in the water. For Alan, it was like back to working a real job again! But a bit more than a week after the mast was pulled we moved Magic to the yard -- we had a date with the crane! So began the first phase of putting Magic back together again.
This time we had a few glitches, but nothing that could not be solved with a lift or two from the crane and bigger and bigger tools. And a few muttered threats as well.
But it all sorted out; the yard guys got warm brownies and we look like a sailboat again.
