We set off early to explore the Arizona Desert Museum...gusting high winds were forecast...so we decided to delay what is essentially and outdoor "desert zoo." How about a hike instead? How about the Brown Mountain Trail in Tucson Mountain Park? Well..how about it!
We did relearn the lesson that when in blows in the flats it blows REALLY hard along the ridge lines. And the wind, while not HOT, was like a drying machine. We returned from a great hike a bit dried out like a few old chilis!
