A Moment in Mexico

It is almost dinner time after a long day -- getting the main sail installed was our big accomplishment.  But we also did a grocery store run, offered to be a secret Santa for a young gal  "off in the country", and met up with a few friends.

I was looking for a couple of meters of webbing and someone phoned a canvas shop; yes, he had webbing.  The canvas shop is a bit far away so "can I bring it to you tomorrow?"  I come down to the marina pretty often.  Sold.  I don't even know the guy's name.

Alan got a haircut.  I think the word is SHORT.  He said hedgehog.

And then we are about to have supper and up at the marina restaurant a mariachi band starts playing.  We must go investigate.  It is 9 piece band (5 violins, 1 trumpet, 2 guitars and 1 singer) for 11 guests at the party which we think is a birthday event.  So we get to enjoy the music and remember that we are in Mexico.

It is 82 degrees at 8pm.  What is not to love?
